Bio
I attended Western Carolina University of Cullowhee, North Carolina for
my undergraduate degree and have just completed class work for my Masters
Degree in elementary education at Gardner Webb University. My husband,
Patrick, and I have two daughters who are former students at American
Renaissance Charter School (elementary) and now they both attend American
Renaissance Middle School.
Welcome!
I would like to welcome all students and parents to American Renaissance
Charter School for the 2005-2006 school year. I am very excited to see
all of our returning students and to meet the new ones. This year
Research is going to be very exciting with our school-wide theme of "North
Carolina". I look forward to traveling through the state with students
in my classes. I always learn as much, if not more, from the students
as they learn from me. I encourage you to visit my class and to talk
with your child a few minutes each day about their experience at school.
This time is valuable to both you and your child. Please let me know
if I can answer any questions! Thanks for all your support.
