I was born in New York, New York where I attended school, married and began my family. At present, I am the proud parent of four sons and one daughter and grandparent of four grandsons and four granddaughters.
 

I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I began my career working with children in 1982 at Barium Springs Home For Children. In 1994, I continued my work with children at Best of America, Inc. In 1999 I began teaching at the American Renaissance Charter School.

Working here at the Charter School has been an extraordinary experience and an exciting chapter in my Book of Life.
