Bio
I've lived in Statesville, NC since I was born with the exception of my four and a half years spent at WCU in Cullowhee earning my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Although I miss the mountains, I am looking forward to a great year at ARCS.
Parents: I want to make this a great first year for our class, so if you have any questions or concerns don't hesitate to get in touch with me!

Hobbies / Interests
I love to read and will pick up any book that looks interesting regardless of author or genre. Some of my favorite authors are J. K. Rowling and John Grisham. I also enjoy reading books that have been made into movies and then watching the movie.
My other hobbies include scrap-booking, shopping, and playing trumpet in the Mitchell Community College Community Band. |

School Supplies:
The following items should be placed in a crayon box labeled with your child's name:
1 pack of Staples twist up crayons
1 pack of thick Crayola markers
1 pack of Crayola twist up colored pencils
1 pair of scissors (blunt tip if possible)
2 glue sticks
The following items need to be labeled with your child's name:
1 backpack
1 lunchbox
1 pack of at least 16 count crayons labled "Science"
2 plastic folders with brads (any color/design)
1 3-ring binder (1 &1/2 inch) with clear cover to hold picture
1 change of clothes in plastic bag
The following items are for classroom use (please don't label):
1 pack copy paper (white)
1 pack copy paper (any color)
1 pack multicolor construction paper
1 pack of #2 pencils
1 box Kleenex
1 package Clorox wipes
1 bottle Germ-X waterless soap
1 Mr. Clean magic eraser sponge
***$10 for Studies Weekly and additional supplies
The following items are not required , but are items we need for our classroom:
"Mr. Clean" Magic Erasers
Plastic silverware
Zippered sandwich bags
