TEACHER ACADEMY




Mrs. Spicer and Senora Solis ARCS and ARMS teachers attended the Teacher Academy weeklong seminar entitled, "Handhelds and Digital Story Telling," at WNC this past June. Lisa Amerson and Tim Rancont from ARMS and Dr. Frey, Marissa Parsons and
Amy McCachren from ARCS learned to utilize multimedia programs such as Movie Maker and PhotoStory and operate handheld computers.

These participants will be presenting several workshops to both staffs throughout the school year regarding the integration of these exciting new technologies for teaching and learning. They will also assist teachers in creating integrated units across our K-8 curricula.
